Basic Agenda: Do a short animation clip, 3 minutes maximum, on any weird news report.
Today was the first day of MOI Project 3…we were then told by our lecturer that the reason that we have to have Project 3, was in order to have some preparation for Final-Year Project. We were then given copies of the Assignment Brief and Lesson Scheme, before being split into groups (only for this day). After grouping, each group was given a paper slip, on which was a quirky news report. We were also given a set of very important questions, to help us group our thoughts and figure the purpose and inner structure of the animation.
My group got ‘Tickled Pink’, about a man who got jumped, then tickled by some mysterious person. So we put up a Powerpoint presentation, using the questions given to lay out the structure, then helping us form some visual idea of how we want the story to look if we were to animate it.
After we presented, we were then given our homework for the day: Find three weird news reports, and present to the class the next day.
Class Dismiss, and when I got home that evening, I soured the Internet until I found three suitable candidates...
